The Process
My creative process is rooted in drawing as a meditative practice. It begins with an image received from the universe, a source or higher energy, and I start by tracing the human figure—the point of departure. As I paint, the noise gradually fades, my thoughts begin to settle, and the symbols expand beyond the human form, transforming into thoughts expressed through lines, curves and dots, each with a life of their own.
Anxiety disappears. My breathing falls into harmony with each stroke, and time seems to stop, only to become infinite. In that moment, the mind is no longer simply the mind, and everything becomes possible.
Through my mindful drawing practices, I help others experience this transformative power through simple exercises that require no previous artistic experience and no specific artistic outcome. The only purpose is to return to the present moment—to be fully aware of every second, every breath, every stroke—and to reconnect with a sense of agency over what we perceive and experience in life through the practice of meditative drawing.
